If you are interested in learning more about bariatric (weight loss surgery), please consider attending one of our bariatric seminars. Our free seminars are informational sessions that include the attendance of one of our bariatric surgeons and members of our bariatric support staff who will be available to provide you with information regarding weight loss surgical options, counseling, nutrition, financial options, exercise and  other weight loss surgery topics. You will be provided with an information packet that will include a step-by-step guide and checklist regarding how to proceed on your journey to a healthier life through weight loss surgery. 

Note: Attendance at one of our bariatric seminars is mandatory prior to entering the program or having an appointment scheduled with the office. 

Unfortunately due to the insurance climate, we do not accept medicare without secondary insurance (this does not include medicaid)  or any medicaid insurance beginning January 1, 2010 for VNUS.  We will not be accepting medicare/medicaid for Bariatrics; we will continue to care for our current patient population.  Please click here to read the Carolinas Center for Medical Excellence requirements for Medically Managed Weight Loss provided as of January 19, 2010.

Seminars Schedule: 

We have been listening to our patients and their concerns for available Information Seminars and we have adjusted our schedule to meet everyone's busy schedules!  We hope this schedule is helpful and you can find a seminar that best suits your needs.

Seminars are from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. every 1st, Tuesday of the month unless otherwise noted and we are now offering a Seminar at 12 noon on the Third Tuesday of each month as well as the Third Saturday of the Month at 10 AM.   The seminars are held in the Administrative Auditorium of the Adminstrative Building at Conway Medical Center, unless otherwise noted.  Directions can be found by going to www.ConwayMedicalCenter.com
