Welcome to the regions Minimally Invasive Surgery practice of choice here in South Carolina.

Here is an excerpt from a letter recently sent out to all active practice patients:

"It is with mixed emotion that I reach out to you to inform you that I am relocating to Charlotte, NC. I have been blessed with an incredible once in a lifetime opportunity and after careful thought and prayer with my wife, I have chosen to accept the position with Southeast Bariatrics; joining Dr David Voellinger in what is arguably the best weight loss surgery program in the entire Southeast. It involves partnering with a large multi-service hospital (Presbyterian Hospital) and giant Hospital system (Novant).

Lately, I have been able to recruit several outstanding Bariatric Surgeons here to the Conway area and with my departure Dr Morris Washington (from NJ) will be taking over the practice soon as an employee of Conway Medical Center. Your charts will stay here with his practice, unless you would like me to forward them to another Bariatric Surgeon. I have full confidence in Dr Washington’s surgical and bedside abilities to care for each of my special patients. He does the full spectrum of bariatric operations that I do here very well, and has added experience in the laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy.

My last day here is July 18, 2010. For those of you that would desire to personally follow up with me, I would be glad to continue our relationship.
